Sunday, 3rd January 2027. The thanksgiving church service holds in the morning at St Gabriel's Catholic Church, Sapele Road, Benin-City, Edo State, and the reception follows in the afternoon at Cathelea Convention and Suites, Benin-City, Edo State.

How do I RSVP?

Complete the RSVP form on the RSVP page. Each guest RSVPs individually, using one phone number and one email address per person. Your response is reviewed by the family and you will be notified once it is approved.

How do I get my invitation and entry pass?

Accepted Answer

Once your RSVP is approved you receive a personal invitation link by email and WhatsApp. It shows your digital pass and seating details. You can also retrieve it any time on the Find my invitation page.

What should I wear?

Guests taking aso ebi will wear the celebration fabric. Everyone else is warmly invited to wear lilac for ladies and white for gentlemen.

How do I buy aso ebi, a headtie or a cap?

Visit the Attire & Aso Ebi page and enter the email address you used for your RSVP. Your order details, payment account and receipt upload will appear there.

How do I pay and send proof of payment?

Accepted Answer

Pay into the account shown on the Attire & Aso Ebi page, quoting your full name as the payment reference, then upload your receipt on that same page. Receipts are private and seen only by the family and event team.

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Seating is limited, so every attendee must be listed individually. Kindly ask anyone joining you to submit their own RSVP, or contact the planning team so we can advise.

Where can I stay and how do I get around?

The Guest Info page lists partner hotels and transport providers in Benin-City, each with a booking link and our guest discount code.

What happens at the entrance on the day?

Please have your digital pass ready on your phone. Our team will scan it at the entrance to check you in — each pass may be used once.
